Immersion into Cross Cultural Shamanism: Celtic and Toltec

A very special retreat at Eagle Bear
in Northern New Mexico.

June 17-22, 2024.

Níl Neart Go Cur Le Chéile

(Phonetically: “Neel Nee-art Guh Kur Leh Kayla”)

Only In Togetherness Is There Power (Translation, Irish proverb)

Two ancient shamanic traditions, each from either side of the Atlantic Ocean, come together in a powerful offering under a Full Moon and in the arms of Summer Solstice this mid-Summer in New Mexico, USA.

Bringing the Toltec are renown teachers from New Mexico José and Lena Stevens, bringing the Irish Celtic are Karen and John, to the residential wilderness retreat of Eagle Bear Ranch for six uniquely magical days and nights.

Immensely experienced guides and mentors, the four bring graceful mastery weaving a respectful, revelatory fusion of practices, rituals, ceremonies, inner and outer mystical adventures that will move and touch all who are called to this very special gathering.

Whether you have roots on one or both sides of the Atlantic, whether the wisdom of the Irish proverb speaks to you, we live in a world time that summons us as a species to sit, heal and rise together like never before.

Immersion in Nature

As with all immersions in Nature, the sacred landscape of Mother Earth is truly the formidable teacher and at Eagle Bear, over 1, 000 acres of diverse landscape is the cradle of beauty, wonder and return of primal force in each and everyone. The topography is undulating at approximately 7, 000 ft of altitude.

From the outset a warm, inclusive and equal spirit of community is fostered with no limit on the enjoyment and humour we discover in ourselves.

Limitless too will be the fire within as personal transformation, unity consciousness and new wise vision find your heart.

The shaman learns primarily from direct experience, so this principle is sincerely honoured as the four teachers create numerous invitations for you into blended practices, alongside their sharing of tradition, myth, lore and lineage.

Much synchronicity and symbiosis await from the care we gift our life and Mother Earth by bringing our presence to the circle at Eagle Bear this June. That origin of that promise is celestial, as Summer Solstice and Full Moon combine in the days of the gathering.

A uniquely potent cauldron is in the making.

Accessibility

As we will be wandering around on uneven ground at altitude (7000 feet), this retreat is unsuitable for anyone who has mobility issues. There are some distances between tent sites and facilities.

Accommodation & Food

The ranch offers glorified camping facilities: a variety of campsites, a 30 foot yurt for group meetings, an outdoor kitchen and dining area for group meals, outhouses, shower house with on demand hot water, and several vintage trailer “bedrooms” (no facilities) for rent on a first come basis.

The camp kitchen provides excellent tasty meals that are simple but delicious, with vegetarian/ gluten-free/ dairy free options at every meal. The kitchen is not a gluten or nut free one and we cannot accommodate very special diets or allergies to commonly used ingredients.

Unless renting a trailer “bedroom”, all participants need a small tent, pad, light sleeping bag, rain gear and good shoes. All meals are provided.

There are “trailer bedrooms” available at an additional fee, a bed in a vintage trailer (with no facilities). Please ask about this when contacting Power Path about your booking.
